The founding team
GeniusCount was born from the meeting of two former auditors, united by a shared conviction: to modernise the fiduciary profession through automation and artificial intelligence.
Alexandre CACHEIRO

Alexandre is the co-founder of the accounting firm efid and of the AI-powered accounting automation software, GeniusCount. He began his career in 2011 at KPMG, an international audit firm, where he held the positions of financial auditor and then forensic consultant for over six years. Passionate about IT, Alexandre develops web applications. Thanks to his dual expertise in finance and IT, he is called on for large-scale projects, notably in the banking sector and by large companies. With over ten years of experience in the fiduciary and IT sectors in Switzerland, Alexandre combines technical and financial expertise to deliver innovative projects.
Tomi WATANABE BERSIER
Founding partner · GeniusCount
Tomi is the co-founder of the accounting firm efid and of the AI-powered accounting automation software, GeniusCount. An experienced director from the management consulting industry and a licensed Swiss audit expert, he has strong expertise in enterprise risk management, compliance, internal audit and accounting. Holding an MBA in Project Management from HEC Geneva (University of Geneva), Tomi brings his fiduciary and governance experience to innovative projects, combining financial rigour with strategic vision.
The emergence of an idea
The meeting between Tomi and Alex, two former colleagues from a Big Four audit firm, marks the starting point of the GeniusCount adventure.
Their vision is clear: modernize the accounting profession through automation of tasks to gain efficiency, facilitate remote work, and improve decision-making with real-time data, while limiting the impact on the environment.
Creation of DAS Finance SA
The year 2018 is a first step, DAS Finance SA is founded, thus laying the foundations of GeniusCount.
Starting from a blank page, the team undertakes the creation of the first programs designed to automatically classify documents and import bank data. Digitization begins to take shape.
Application development
In 2019, innovation accelerates.
GeniusCount develops applications dedicated to accounting processes. This major step is reinforced by the collaboration with a former IT expert from KPMG, giving the project a more advanced technical dimension.
Creation of DAS Infrastructure SA
The year 2020 is synonymous with growth and strategic collaboration.
DAS Infrastructure is born, marking the continued commitment to the development of cutting-edge business applications. The team grows with the first IT and accounting hires, allowing the newly created system to be tested. GeniusCount is paving the way for a major transformation.
Transition to digital
In 2021, GeniusCount enters a crucial transition phase.
Accounting operations are delegated, freeing up time and resources for the design and development of a SAAS application. At the same time, discussions about the creation of DAS Holding SA emerge. The company is preparing the ground for a new era.
Creation of DAS Holding SA
The year 2022 is marked by major advances.
GeniusCount begins migrating applications to the SAAS platform. This transition represents a significant technological leap. In addition, the creation of DAS Holding SA enables a fundraising that provides the resources needed to consolidate the group's ambitions and the realization of a strategic partnership.
Migration completed
In 2023, the migration to the SAAS platform is completed, marking the definitive transition to an optimal user experience.
GeniusCount emerges as a major player in dematerialized accounting.
Public launch
GeniusCount shifts into high gear!
Hundreds of users are already won over by the software. The ChatGPT integration transforms the user experience.
