Rapprochement bancaire automatique

Automatic bank reconciliation matches your statement movements with your entries and supporting documents, and leaves your team only the exceptions. GeniusCount imports statements (CAMT.053, CSV, bLink connection), matches references, parties and amounts, then highlights partial payments, discounts and missing documents. No more ticking off the statement manually, line by line. Reconciliation is the control that guarantees the accounts reflect the bank's reality: without it, a closing can look correct while hiding an invoice paid twice or a forgotten receivable. By making it automatic, you make every close reliable instead of enduring it.

A concrete case: closing a bank account at month-end

Month-end on a typical mandate: the statement has about sixty movements. Most are unsurprising (rent, salaries, client payments with QR reference), but a few lines stick: a client settled two invoices in a single payment, a supplier was paid with a discount, and a CHF 12 bank-fee debit matches no document.

GeniusCount first matches everything that's certain: QR references and invoice numbers are matched automatically to the corresponding entry or document. Four exceptions remain, presented in a short, explained list: the grouped payment is proposed for breakdown, the discount is identified, the open receivable is flagged and the bank fees just need a rule to be posted. The accountant settles these few cases instead of ticking off sixty lines, and the accounting balance matches the bank balance to the cent.

Multiplied across dozens of mandates and accounts, this automatic sorting makes the difference between a closing that drags on and a closing under control: at any moment you know which accounts are justified.
